Disclosure

When I purchase a product that solves a problem of mine I’m going to promote that product. What that means is that if you read a review on my site and that merchant has an affiliate program I will be paid a commission when certain conditions are met.

However, if a product fails to meet my needs I will write a review and tell everyone how awful the product is and why it failed to meet my expectations. In those instances I will not be paid a commission due to the fact that I don’t want to make a commission on a product that I do not believe in.

Why am I Telling You This?

The FTC thinks consumers are nincompoops! They believe that people in general are not smart enough to notice the difference between a real review and a fake review posted online by dishonest affiliate marketers trying to make a quick buck. The FTC assumes that I’m willing to sell my reputation for an affiliate commission. I would never do that, but I have to inform you of this to cover my butt.
